Sheri Sussman was born in New York, grew up in Cincinnati, and came to Los Angeles when she was 18 years old, where she studied at the UCLA Extension Writers' Program. Soon after, she became a working screenwriter in Hollywood. Sheri was a writer on the critically acclaimed independent film, "MacArthur Park", which premiered at Sundance and is distributed by The Sundance Channel.
She has written, directed, and/or produced award winning feature films, documentaries, and short films that have screened in festivals around the world, and all have distribution. Sheri's most recent film screened in Cannes at the American Pavilion Emerging Filmmakers Showcase. She is fortunate to work with a vast array of respected veterans in the entertainment industry, as well as up and coming talent.
Sheri is a judge for the prestigious Page International Screenplay Awards and founder of Spiral Gate Productions.
